Well, of course while at the pumpkin patch we had to get Macade his pumpkin. Since we get them so early in the month i know that if i cut them they will just go bad before Halloween. So I always just draw the face on with a marker for a few weeks then we make a Family night out of it before Halloween to carve our pumpkins. Macade was so excited all week. He won't let me put it ouside, he makes me keep it on the kitchen table where it was so he can see it "glow" and night. He even makes me light the candle during the day. It is so much fun!!!
Cleaning out the Pumpkin (you can see on his face he thought this part was kind of gross. He kept asking me to clean off his hand)
Carving it. He loved taking all the pieces out of their spots and putting them back in. He called it a puzzle! Too Cute.
The Final product. Like i said before He is so proud of it. He woke up this morning and said "Mom we did a great job cleaning out the pumpkin, and Dad and i did a great job cutting him. He looks great!" And that it does!!!! Great work family!

Love it! Macade is a hoot! Your jack-o-lantern is great. They did a fantastic job. I think is cute how he does not want it outside.
Aren't kids wonderful? I love the look of accomplishment on Macade's face. "I did it" is written all over. Good Job and have fun at Trunk or Treat....(Saturday night..be there before 6 pm, then come to get my famous hot chocolate)
