California Lovin'

Macade and I decided that we would take a week off life and go and visit my parents down in good old Cali. My mom had to go to Utah to clean up their condo's for the new tenants and with my dad being sick we really could not leave him home by himself. So I packed up my gear (which is not a little when your packing for a little tyke too) and flew on down south to my favorite state. It was a wonderful week with my parents. It was so fun to see Macade with them as well. Since we were there long enough he really got to know them and was really attached. He would cry if my mom or dad left the room even with me right by him. it was so sweet. He would crawl around the house wimpering trying to find them. It was very cute. (more pics to come)
Cory headed down a week later to be with us and we went the beach. Once again our fearless son prooved to us just how fearless he is. We stripped him to his onsie and he charged right out to the water splashing and laughing. It was so much fun. He would go out so far that we would have to pull him back in. The little waves would splash him in the face and he would just laugh. He is such and amazing kid. He is so fun to be around!!

Root Root Root for the Mariners, If They Don't Win It's The Same....

So we headed out for another night at the ball game. It was so fun. Not as great of seats as last time but still a great view. Bad News: The Mariners lost! Good news: the Oakland A's won (Woo Hoo) and Macade made his big screen début.
During the 2nd inning Cindy and I texed messaged a picture of macade at the game to the qwest field website (that is the mariners field.) So during the 8th inning they started to show some of the pictures that were sent in from the game. And our adorable little Macade was 3rd on that giant screen in the ball park. We got the whole field to AWW. It was great. The camera loves him, as well as his fans!!! This is the picture that changed all the Mariners fans to Macade fans!! It was a night to remember!!

Bubbles!!!

For Macade's bath i put extra bubbles in. He loves the bubbles. Well tonight he decided to try to eat the bubbles. It was so funny. he would put his face in the water and open his mouth wide and come out with a face full of bubbles. He would laugh and do it again. He was hilarious!!

A day at the Zoo

We went to the zoo one weekend and Macade loved it. We took him to the petting zoo and he loved petting and touching the goats. he kept trying to grab them. It was so funny. Unfortunatly our camera ran out of batteries so we do not have as many pictures as we wish we had. But just like the aquarium, macade was very into all the animals. He is such an outdoors man. I love it!!

Just Hanging Out

Every weekend we try to find something fun to so. A lot of sight seeing and just wondering around. It is fun to see what there is to offer here in Washington, you know, when the weather decides to let us out of the house!!

So i walked into the room after a little while and saw both these guys asleep, i mean out. they were so gone it was funny. Another exausting day for both Macade and Daddy. I guess i just wear them out.

Seattle Aquarium

We thought it would be fun to hit the Aquarium with Macade and show him all the animals. So on the 4th of July we headed down there. It was amazing to see how interested macade was in the fish. He loved the octopus. We put him right up to the window and he just watched it and looked at the fish and tried to touch them. It was so much fun.
We put him up to the tide pools as well and let him touch the star fish and the sea anenimies. He was so into it. I think he really enjoyed it.

The whole day was so much fun. After the whole aquarium was explored by us we headed out to the fire works. I thought that the noise would bother macade but he loved it. He was laughing and watching. He really liked the fireworks. Looks like we just found a 4th of July tradition.

Macade's New Favorite Past-Time

Cory and I were outside with Macade trying to get him to blow some energy off. While we were out there i decided to water the grass. So i move it away from us and let it go. Well, while i was trying to set it Macade decided he wanted to come and explore this new toy out. So he headed right over not caring that the water was spraying him right in the face. Cory and I got such a kick out of it that we kept moving him back and letting him crawl to the sprinkler again. It was such a hoot. Finally he reached his goal and played with it for quite a while until he started to shiver. Than we took him inside and let him take a hot bath to warm up. What a silly kid! Always trying new things.

That water adventure must have really wiped him out. While i was feeding him he fell asleep on me and did not wake up. He has not fallen asleep on me since he was a little baby. It was so much fun to have him snuggle again. AWWW!

Beach Time

Ok, so it is not quite like California beaches...well not even close but it was fun. We walked along the the Puget Sound. It was a beautiful day. Macade loved the sand and the water. I think he realized that the sand was not as good as it looks.

GO MARINERS!!!

So we are going about our regular day on Tuesday and get a call from mom (cory's mom) and are invited to a Mariners Baseball game. We think it would be way fun so we decided to go. The cool thing about this trip is that Cory's dad got tickets from his buisness and could not go. Well these seats are to die for. He gave them to mom and she took cory and i and we loved it. These seats are 4 rows behind the home plate, all you can eat food FOR FREE, and you are treated like a celebrity. It is great. I will never be satisfied by another baseball seat ever again:). Here is a pic of the great view we had.

So while we are headed to the game we park the car and get out. I reach to get Macade and realize that my hand is covered in Poop...YUCK. So we have to change him in the trunk of the jeep. We realize that i am not as prepared as usual and only have a clean onesie. Well the poop went all the way through his jeans. So we stick the onesie on him and run into the stadium and have to buy him some pants because, surprise, surprise, It is rainy and cold!! Well no such thing as just pants for little guys like Macade so we end up having to buy him a sweatsuite. But it so darn Cute!!!

I just had to show this last picture because it is to die for. This is Macade holding the menu for the game. Yes our seats had menus we could order food from...for free remember. It was called the dimond club as you can see on the menu. He is such a little cutie. And i must say our little angel made it through 9 innings (3 1/2 hours) without even a wimper...a smile the whole time! he is so great
And last but not least, just a few more little pics from our great, spur of the moment, night out! Macade and Dad, Me and Cory, Macade eating some of mom's ice cream. ( i know i could not resist, he just likes it too much:) )

Starting out the Boating Season

For those of you who know my husband, he loves boating. He would do it all day everyday if he could. So on Saturday he decided he wanted to head up to his folkes house to get some boating in. It was a beautiful day. So we get there and Cory and I get the boat all cleaned (vacuume, dust, wipe the winter dirt and grime off all the seats and dash, etc.). Cory just wanted to show Macade what fun his life has in store for him. It turned out to be a wonderful trip.

We put Macade in the water up to his knees and you can tell he did not know what he thought about it. I think it is more the fact that the stupid life jacket was swallowing his poor head! Here he is actually over the boat in the water, i just could not catch it all in the camera! But later that day we took him into the pool in his parents neighborood (without the head swallowing, cheek puckering life jacket) and he was so happy. Laughing, kicking his legs. It was so much fun. I will have to get a picture of it next time. He is a true water baby!!

Here is a Picture of Macade and Grandpa Ross on the boat. Awww, so cute!

Helping Daddy

Macade figures that if he helps Cory with his homework then he will be able to play with him sooner. Sometimes he just gets in the way though, but Cory is such a good sport to let him try to help him finish, although most of the time he is adding and subtracting so many random things from the computer faster than cory can stop him. Macade loves that computer, just like his father!

Time for a Hair Cut!

Macade's hair was getting a little too long for me, it was not spiking too well. So i thought i would cut his hair. We have done it before and it went well. This time was the same. We have such a great son. We took the buzzers to his head and he just sat there as Cory cut his hair. A little shorter than i want but he is still a little stud if you ask me!
