UW vs BYU

Cory's dad once again got us good seats at a great event in Washington from his work. UW (University of Washington) was playing byu for the first game of the season. It was so much fun to watch. Macade loved it and was so good...even when it was during his nap...OOPS! it was a close game and we surrounded by UW fans of course but there were still alot of BYU fans too. it felt funny rooting for with the minority...oh well. Long story short...BYU WON!!! 28-27. It was a great game and the uw fans were POed you can imagine. they were blaming it on the refs and all. it was really funny. But we enjoyed the beautiful sunny day and a day with Cory's Parents. We love the day away!!

Weekend with Family

David and Lesley came up for Memorial Day weekend since they were done working for the summer. They are headed down to Cali and wanted one last visit before they left washington! It was fun but very laid back. We took walks by the water and went to a museum fort and just hung around. Dave and Cory played wii alot and cory loved it since i don't play with him that much he was glad to have someone else to play it with!

Boy or Girl??

so in exaclty 4 days we are able to find out what we are having. A boy or a girl? Cory is hoping for a little girl but we both would be happy either way. I wish i have taken pics of the belly lately but haven't. it has gotten big. For some reason i always show really early. With Macade i did and with this one am too but you know what! who cares, at least i look pregnant and not just fat right!! So on tuesday i will post what we are having. hold your breath till then!!

Daddy's Boy

Macade is such a daddy's boy it is fun to watch. He wants to do everything with daddy. The moment he gets home from work to the time macade goes to bed he spends every minute with is Dad! I must say, it is nice break for me!!

The Baby Belly

I just thought i would show those who care to see the baby belly. 12 weeks along, i started to show at 7 weeks. The pic is kind of dark but the belly is there for all to see! We just had our first altrasound a week ago and things are looking great. I got to lay and watch the babe just move and wiggle as they scanned me. It really is an amazing thing to be able to see the babe inside of you. What an amazing miracle and i God has given me the opportunity to expirience it again. I am truely grateful!

Northwest Trek

On Saturday Cory and I try to find fun things to do for the family to enjoy together since we tend to get busy during the week. This last saturday we headed out to Northwest Trek which is a safarie type park with native animals from the Northwest. You take a big tram around the grasslands and forest for about an hour and see all the different animals. Then you can walk around the park and see the meat eating animals in their habitats. They separate the plant eating from the meat eating for obvious reasons!! Macade loved the park. He was so into all the animals. If we let him he would have jumped off the tram and tried to kiss all the animals since that is his favorite thing to do is kiss!!

Another Day of Boating

So for those of you who know my husband you know his two favorite things to do are Soccer and Boating! Well 2 weekends ago we headed out to the lake again for another day of boating. There is nothing like a great sunny day, warm water, and a great little boy who wants to explore new adventures everyday!

Done Forever

Cory officially graduated from Pacific Lutheran University with his Masters in Business Administration on May 25, 2008. We are so happy. Many of my pictures are with my mom so i do nto have many. But i threw a huge BBQ for him with his family and friends and made an awsome cake that i must brag about with the help of my mother. It was way too much work for one little old me:) It was a graduation cap with the tassel and all. This is still in the process. my mom as the pictures of the final...still:) Congratulations Cory! I love you!

...And then there were Four

The cat is out of the bag so i guess i should share with those who like to stay posted. Cory and I are expecting another little one On February 7th 2009. Yes i am about 3 months along now and have kept it pretty quiet until at 7 weeks my tummy decided it was time to POP. So at 9 weeks i let the family in on the secrest since i felt bad that everyone at church and my friends knew but my fam did not! Its hard to hide it when they can see it! So yes i am showing and all. Just great, it seems this will go on forever! But we are so excited and are looking forward to having another little one for Macade to play with!

Finally Out Of Rexburg

After many years of Torture for my brother David and his wife Lesley, he finally graduated with his BA. We are so proud of him. And we love it because it gives a great excuse to all get together. So Cory and i drove from Seattle to Rexburg..12 hours, 13 with Macade. We split it in 2 days and really it was not that bad. macade is a great sport. he just sits and watches movies and reads books and eats alot. For the most part...for an 18 month old boy, he was a great sport!

We had the oportunity to go to the new Rexburg temple. It was beautiful. Just as an interesting note, that saturday after the end of the semester, the day we went, there were 28 weddings that day! CRAZY!

So i must say, my little man has some serious California blood in him. I guess we have to head back so he will fit it!

AND....as a very exciting side note, after Dave opened all of his gifts he and Lesley had a gift to give all of us...THEY ARE PREGNANT. Due in the beginning of December. YEAH!!!!!!!

To Grandmother's House We Go!

While Cory was enjoying his time in Ireland i took a little trip of my own to the Great California. I headed to my parents house so that i did not have to be alone in our big house all week. I don't like that idea. So macade and i headed on a plane the monday after Cory left and stayed there all week. it was great. Of course Grandma and Grandpa really enjoyed having their only grandson around. And let me tell you, Macade loves my mom. he will choose my mom over me. When we came home to him after errands or the temple, he would run to my mom first and give her a hug and kiss before me. Darn little boy! Grandma was eating it up!

My mom took him to the Clayton Library for some reading. I have one day a week that i take him to the library to read and play. So it felt like home to him! Very cute.

There is a new park now right in Downtown Clayton where the post office is and where the 4th of July parade is held. here he is playing at that park.

We headed off to Heather Farms park to feed the ducks. Macade loved it. I was afraid of the Geese. I was pretty much nervous the whole time when they came around. Macade thought nothing of it, he just threw the bread at them and thought they were so cool because they were as tall as him!

Trip to Ireland

Cory finally got his break that he truly deserves. For his graduate degree he was required to take a trip to a foreign country for his international business class. He had many choice his first being Vietnam, second China and third was Ireland. His first two did not work out, either full or not enough intrest so on March 21 he boarded a 6:30 am flight headed to Ireland. He says he really enjoyed it and brought back some great gifts for us of course. He got back on March 30th and said he loved every minute of it. Except being away from me and Macade, although i bet secretly he enjoyed that as well:) I got some of the pictures but i must say there are a lot so i picked some that looked interesting.

Cory and his Buds ate out every night in a different pub. he says the food is great. he says he joined his friends in a Pint but this pictures says otherwise....don't ya think!!!:)
