Ward Christmas Party

We had the opportunity to attend our Fabulous ward Christmas party that was put on by the amazing Andrea Mathison:-) The food was great and the entertainment rocked. But of course the best part was the Fantastic visit from Santa Clause. Macade was so excited to see him and knew exactly what he was going to tell him he wanted!! Now lets hope that 'Santa' can find it:-)
Macade and Daddy enjoying the music!

Braxton loving the band that played. He danced the whole time!

Macade and his little 'girlfriend'. They were together the whole night. He even let her wear his Santa hat! We are in trouble with this little womanizer!!

Never Ceases to Amaze

Macade is always surprising me with things that he has learned. We go to Story Time at the library every week and one of the things we do is the Hokey Pokey. At home I do it with him as well. So today while he was putting his shirt on he says "Now my right arm and then my left" He said this while placing the right arms in the shirt. So i had to test him, thinking maybe it was just luck. I asked him where his right arm was and he raised his right arm. Then i asked his left, and again raised the correct arm, the left. I was so amazed how he picked up on this left and right. I have such a smart little 3 year old!!!

Family Picture 2009

It is time to get those Christmas Cards out and i have been planning a picture for some time now. So when my mom was here in the beginning of October we headed on out and attempted to get our Annual Family Picture:

After A LOT of these:

We somehow got one of these:

3 Year Pictures

As you know we take our own pictures. But it is better than a studio and WAY cheaper than one who will come and take them for you at your desired location! So here is Macade's 3 year old pictures that we finally got a good day to do outside! He is such a great picture taker it was awesome. We were done in about 20 minutes with tons to choose from!

Here are a few of my Favorite:

All I Want For Christmas

So now that Thanksgiving is past I have started to think of what to do for Christmas gifts for the family and friends. Ok, truth is i have been slowly buying over the last 2-3 months already. I have found it is much more cost effective than taking it all out in one month. So since i am doing good on everyone elses gifts i thought it was time to think about myself! Since i can't really get things i want for myself throughout the year, i will not lie, i use Christmas to my upmost advantage!!! So here you go hunny, some of the things on my wish list!!

Vinyl Lettering Machine with the Fixin's

When we moved here 3.5 years ago i lost my Black Suede Jacket and have never been able to find it. I am still really bummed. But i hoping...again this year... it will get replaced with a beautiful Black Pea Coat.

Victoria Secret Dream Angels "Heavenly" perfume and lotion. One of my Absolute Favorites!

Women at the Well musical CD! I was in a play for this a while ago and have always wanted the CD to it. Maybe this year will be my year!

A large, deep frying pan with a lid. I do alot of cooking and am in DIRE need of one of these. My little ones just aint cutting it anymore!!!

9 months

Braxton turned 9 months on the 6th of this month. I am a little behind because i have been VERY busy with my church calling and then i got sick. But i thought i would do it before the end of this week when i get my wisdom teeth pulled...yuck!

He is growing and growing and we love him more and more...of course! His 9 months stats are:
23 lbs
38 inches
90% for everything!
-He is in 12-18 months clothes...AAAK!!!
-He is a quick crawler and is now starting to walk when he is holding our hands, Crazy i know!
-He eats everything, food, shoes, toys, socks, clothes...you get the picture:-).
-He loves to talk non-stop, and loud! Even in his sleep he talks. I have to sleep with earplugs so he does not wake me up!
-He loves to play peek-a-boo.
-He has 3 teeth. Two on bottom one on top and another coming in!
-He can clap and wave which is so cute!!
-He still loves his brother Macade and loves to do what he is doing, but he is his own indepentant one too!
-He loves the dishwasher and will play with it for hours if i let him. When we are doing the dishes and he hears it, he could be in the other room and he speed crawls in so he can play in it.
-He loves to hang upside down. He will be sitting on our laps and just works so hard to get upside down. If we pull him back up he throws himself back down again. Very entertaining!
-He takes apart everything. His books on the shelf, the puzzles that i just picked up, toys out of the box. He is a busy one.
-He knows the word 'no' and is pretty obedient. He knows what he can and can not touch and really does listen. He may be a busy one and have an opinion but he listens and does what he is told. How can i complain!!!!
-We love him so much. He is just so fun to watch and have around. He is getting so big and more and more fun to have around everyday!!! (most days:-))

Birthday #3

I can not believe it. My little macade is 3 years old now. The time has flown and he is growing up so quick. He is so smart and funny i can not imagine my life without him. It would be pretty dull. Last year we had a little party for him so this year we just did the family thing. He woke up to his birthday quilt full of presents and got to go to bed with it that night for his birthday, a tradition we do every year! He also got a dinasour cake that he requested months ago and continued to remind me. It was a great day and i know he felt like the special birthday boy he is. We love him so much!!!
The Birthday Quilt!

Opening all his gifts! I must say i was a good picker

He was pretty stoked about his fire truck. You can see it on his face. Priceless!!

Happy Birthday!

Happy Halloween

Another year of Trick-or-Treating has passed and can i just say that i think my boys were darn cute little trick-or-treaters. I love that Macade got so excited to dress up its all he talked about for weeks. He was a Construction Worker and Braxton was a puppy. Very Cute!!

Both Very Cute! I Love my Little Guys

Too Big for Comfort

Cory and i were watching our show on Sunday night, The Amazing Race, and at the same time we both looked up and saw this ENORMOUS spider crawl up our drapes and just chill there. It was huge. I would say to size it, it was as big as the base of an 8 oz glass. No joke. The picture does not give it justice. (To be honest i was pushing myself just to get this close for a picture. I was creeped out). Suffice it to say that neither of us was getting close enough to it to get it with a paper towel so as Cory said..."this is a job for the Duster Buster!!" Good call honey!

Pumpkin Time

Well, of course while at the pumpkin patch we had to get Macade his pumpkin. Since we get them so early in the month i know that if i cut them they will just go bad before Halloween. So I always just draw the face on with a marker for a few weeks then we make a Family night out of it before Halloween to carve our pumpkins. Macade was so excited all week. He won't let me put it ouside, he makes me keep it on the kitchen table where it was so he can see it "glow" and night. He even makes me light the candle during the day. It is so much fun!!!

Cleaning out the Pumpkin (you can see on his face he thought this part was kind of gross. He kept asking me to clean off his hand)

Carving it. He loved taking all the pieces out of their spots and putting them back in. He called it a puzzle! Too Cute.
The Final product. Like i said before He is so proud of it. He woke up this morning and said "Mom we did a great job cleaning out the pumpkin, and Dad and i did a great job cutting him. He looks great!" And that it does!!!! Great work family!
