Macade Potty Training--Day #2

Ok, so day 2 of the potty training business. Really? It is hard work. I will be glad when its over...whenever that will be! But i must say that Macade is really smart and is an easy candidate for this, considering he is only 25 months!

Todays count:

Wet Accidents: 4 (one was at a friends house while on a quick errand...understandable for a newbee)
Poop Accidents: 1
# of times he WENT on the potty: 5 (with one poop!!)
# of times he SAT on the potty: 15
Macade breakdowns: 0
Mom Breakdowns: 2

This by itself should be called a full time job. With the laundry, and the cleaning, and the patience there seems to be no end. A breakdown is bound to happen. You would think it was the little boy crying in his room considering with accidents he has to clean it up, underwear and all. But nope, nope, not in my house...its the mom. Unless its a poopy underwear he has to clean, he hates that! Stressful business potty training is, but it will be worth it and i promise i am going to stick it out!!! So Far So Good!

You're so funny! That's how you know you're a true mom, right? When you start publicly bragging about your child's bowel movements. I love it! Good luck!

WOW! Look at you! And Macade! Guess you'll have only one in diapers when babe #2 comes, unlike me! With the baby coming any day now, Tanner isn't getting potty trained until spring, which is okay....we tried for about 2 weeks, and decided that while he is excited enough, he just doesn't understand enough, so we're holding off. That is AMAZING that you've made so much progress so quick though! Congrats!

Good job Tess! I know how that feels. Try potty training twins! That as crazy and stressful. But regardless, potty training suck and makes me want to pull my hair out. He sounds like he's doing pretty well though. If he starts to lose interest (It happens believe it or not), then go to a 99 cent store (if you have one) and buy some little toys like cars and such, wrap each other of them up and put them in a basket or bucket in the bathroom and each time he goes he gets to pick a present. It's a great bribe with out using food and sugary candies!
