DISNEYLAND

So we did our family vacation this year and headed down to Disneyland. We saved for a while for this vaca and loved every minute of it. We flew down on Thursday March 11 and stayed till monday March 15. We were able to spend the weekend with the best sister in the world...MINE... and enjoy her and her hubby's company. We spent 3 days in Disneyland/Disney California Adventure and wore ourselves out. I will admit, i pushed my kids and i know they loved it. We stayed between about 9-10:00 everynight. And not one fuss from the kids. Grandma drove down and joined us for our second day in Disneyland. She enjoyed being with her grandkids and i enjoyed being with my mom! Once again, it was wonderful and adventurous. You see Disneyland in a whole new light with little ones and it really brought the magic out. The way Macade would light up when he saw one of the characters was priceless!! Macade and Braxton are Daredevils. They did all the rides that hight requirements would allow them to. Even Pirates, it was SO FUN! Excuse all the pictures...we went picture happy (and these are just the surface)!!! Oh and a side note...excuse my large sunglasses, what can i say, my Califonia roots come out once in a while!

Our Last day....Last Picture! A vacation worth remembering!These are just some of the billions of pictures we took. It was an amazing weekend and we want to thank our hosts Kay and Mark for sharing this fabulouse weekend with us. And mom for sharing Saturday. it was a BLAST!

Great Wolf Lodge

A couple weekends ago we were invited to head down to the Great Wolf Lodge in Grand Mound, WA with our dear friends, Celeste and Bryan and their boys and her sister Carissa and her husband Adam and their kids. It was an absolute blast. The hotel has a huge indoor water park for the guests to play in and it is so much fun. Macade and Braxton just loved the kiddy pool and the wave pool. We got there Friday about 4 and headed to the water right after we got there and met up with the Greatest People in the world, Celeste, Bryan, Carissa and Adam!! The kids played for about 2 hours and then we headed up to Celeste and Bryan's room and got some Pizza. After which we got Braxton in bed and headed down stairs with Macade to storytime. it is a little play and story they put on everynight for the kids before they go to sleep. Then they got to meet the Wolf! Macade loved it.
Early on Saturday we were up and headed to the park again for a full day of playing. From 9-5 we played and played. no naps for either of my kids and they did GREAT! I am so proud of them. The "dad's and mom's" Switched off with the kids so that we adults could enjoy the big waterslides at times. They were so much fun. I think that Carissa and Celeste got more of kick out of my facial expressions and screaming while headed backwards than anything, don't you girls think? I would go back just for those, they were great! When we headed home we were not 2 minutes out of the parking lot and both boys crashed. It was a full, busy day and VERY fun! We are definetly going to plan another trip there in the future!

Well for your amusment, here i am taking my turn. I have no idea who won, but i did cruise pretty fast across for an old gal:-) My facial expressions say it all! (And now Bryan you can't use this as blackmail since i just posted it for all to see...HA HA)

Little Sunbeam

Macade is now in Primary and i am so excited. I have been waiting for the day that he gets to go up on the stand in Sacrament and sing with the Primary. And have been anticipating the moment he gives his first talk/scripture and Prayer. Well i have passed both and don't think it will ever get old. He was able to sing in sacrament 2 weeks ago and was so adorable. This last sunday he gave his First Scripture and prayer. He was so good to remind me to practice it all week although he had it memorized after the 2nd time going over it. So in Primary we go up to the front and he says it all by himself. I did not have to help him at all. I am so proud of my little sunbeam and can not wait for more moments like these:-)

For all those faithful followers of my blog (you know your one of them:-) I have to apologize for my lack of blogging. I am trying to keep up but i must admit, i should do better. It was a beautiful day on Saturday so we took the opportunity to head out and get Braxton's 1 year pictures. He was so much fun to take pictures of i really enjoyed it. Here are some of the best!

Feeling Good!

So i just had to announce a wonderful thing has happened to Cory and I. We are out of credit card debt. that is right. We have paid off all of our credit cards and they are all empty!! IT FEELS GREAT. we paid off our car last year and now our credit cards. It feels great to lose that burden!!!!

Funny Kid

Macade always cracks me up with the things he says:

1. Macade: I did my puzzle all by myself
Me: Wow, how did you do that
Macade: Because i am freakin' awesome!!!

2. i get all ready and come out to play Candy Land with Macade. He looks at me and smiles! "Mom, you look really pretty!"

3. When macade was sick i got him some chicken nuggets. I was to the point i would get him anything that he would eat since he was not eating anything.
Macade: Golly thanks mom!
Me: Your're welcome. Tell me who is the best
Macade: ME!!!!
The correct answer was suppose to me! He corrected next "Oh i mean you mom!!!"

Bronchiolitis

So Macade has just gotten over his bronchiolitis. It was no fun but we made it through. Well, last night i was woken about every 2-3 hours by Braxton screaming, very not normal. This morning he is nothing but fussy and all he wants to do is sleep. My poor baby has bronchiolitis too. There is nothing i can do for him but love him and hold him and try to get him to sleep! I am running on 3 hours of sleep with one VERY sick little child who is very irratable and does not feel good at all and the only way he can express it is by crying...pretty much endlessly (except for the 1-2 hours at a time he sleeps). I feel so bad for my little baby. My children never get sick and when they do it is bad, like this! So for you moms who have sick-free children, count your blessings.

I'm Back

So, i must admit i have had no motivation to Blog this past little while. Life has been just going left and right for me and my focus is to keep up. Both my boys are still sick. Macade had been running a fever of 103+ for 3 days and is coughing and has a runny nose and had a day of throwing up. Braxton is coughing, sneezing, has a runny nose as well. And of course i have caught the same thing. What do you expect after wiping noses and getting coughed on and thrown up on, huh?!?

But i thought i would get back online today and post about my little one's birthday. That is right, My little braxton turned 1 year old on Saturday the 6th. He is walking everywhere, laughing all the time and talking non stop. He is a busy one who i can not keep up with and he has an opinion on many things and will share it when he wants, (which is usually ALL the time). He loves Macade as much as macade loves him. They play together so cute and get along very well. We love him so much! Happy Bithday Braxton!

Wedding Bells!!

I love weddings. Especially when they are my family. My younger brother was married in the Oakland temple on January 2, 2010. It was a glorious day of family and love. Congrats to Trenton and Jennifer on their new embarkment of life. We love you both so much!

Back To Life

Ok Ok. So i know that i have been WAY behind on my blogging and i am sorry. But at least now i have changed the christmas music and my backround!!! Baby steps. But for my fans out there you are going to have to wait another day or two. I got some sick babies and they take priority. So check back then.. Sorry for the inconvenience:-)

Ward Christmas Party

We had the opportunity to attend our Fabulous ward Christmas party that was put on by the amazing Andrea Mathison:-) The food was great and the entertainment rocked. But of course the best part was the Fantastic visit from Santa Clause. Macade was so excited to see him and knew exactly what he was going to tell him he wanted!! Now lets hope that 'Santa' can find it:-)

Never Ceases to Amaze

Macade is always surprising me with things that he has learned. We go to Story Time at the library every week and one of the things we do is the Hokey Pokey. At home I do it with him as well. So today while he was putting his shirt on he says "Now my right arm and then my left" He said this while placing the right arms in the shirt. So i had to test him, thinking maybe it was just luck. I asked him where his right arm was and he raised his right arm. Then i asked his left, and again raised the correct arm, the left. I was so amazed how he picked up on this left and right. I have such a smart little 3 year old!!!
